Automotive – Tvr

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

The TVR brand name and image is one of the most typically British of all time. The name and sight of the vehicles inspire thoughts of theatre, passion and excitement. For the past sixty years TVR have produced performance sports cars that have been amongst the worlds most revered and powerful. The cars produced are iconic and distinctive and have ensured TVR are at the forefront of car aficionados minds when the performance vehicles are discussed.

The current model range from TVR includes three vehicles. The new Sagaris, the Tuscan S and the Tuscan S Convertible. All three of these cars are prime examples of TVR’s ability to marry style and sophistication. The Sagaris uses dramatic lines and sweeps to make it the ultimate racing car for the open road. The new Sagaris is as powerful and performs as well as it looks like it should. The Tuscan S is a mark II model and the latest incarnation of the legendary TVR. Again it couples dramatic design with powerful performance to ensure anyone who uses the Tuscan S will have a drive to remember. The Tuscan S Convertible combines the Tuscan’s already memorable driving experience with the unbridled exhilaration of driving a convertible sports car. This said, the Tuscan S Convertible is not merely a coupe with the roof removed. The functionality of the car has been completely redesigned to ensure a brand new driving experience.

One of the most famous TVR’s of all time is the TVR Chimaera. This car combined raw power with the all the famous looks of a classic sports car. Some critics describe the TVR Chimaera as being all brawn and no brains, with a very loud engine and that it can at times be difficult to handle. This car has been described as offering what can only be called a proper driving experience!

Are Radar Detectors Legal in the US and in which States are they Prohibited?

Sunday, June 13th, 2010

A good number of the people with cars in the United States have their own radar detectors. Their reason is that they feel that the speed limit at present is very low. Most of the American people are not satisfied with moderate speed while driving. They want to be the fastest driver on the road as well as get to the places they’re going in record time; they want to be always in the race.

The radar detector serves as their alarm whenever there are police near them. Once the radar detector alarm sounds, they can ease on the gas and slow down their speed.

Because of the radar detectors being known to every motorist, cops are hiding, in alleyways or behind bridges in order to avoid being detected by the radar detectors.

Motorists on the other hand are being clever themselves, they are aware of these techniques from the police, so more enhanced, top-dollar detectors have entered the market.

Though the policemen are always improving their chances of catching the radar detector users, they are unable to make the streets of the United States radar detector-free.

Radar detectors are legal in many cities and states in the United States. But this does not mean that radar detector units are legal in all of the states in the US.

Monday, May 10th, 2010

The answer is … yes! Actually, truckers are going for trucking software to make their life a little easier. A trucker’s life is not all about being behind the wheel of a big rig. They have a lot of paperwork and information to keep track of for themselves as well as the trucking company that employs them. There is a variety of trucking software programs out on the market today, so it depends on what needs to be accomplished as opposed to which of the variety of trucking software programs you will purchase.

Let’s stop and think about why a trucker would need trucking software. What do they do for a living? Drive! These truckers cover a lot of miles and have to fill up their fuel tanks periodically. There are trucking software programs that assist the trucker in recording the miles they traveled as well as each time they stopped to fill their fuel tanks. The trucking software can keep track of all the mileage and expenses accrued during a trip. So if the truck driver pays for fuel and maintenance out of pocket, they need accurate records to turn in to their trucking company for reimbursement. Otherwise, they are out of a lot of money.

American Automaker Needs New Concepts

Saturday, May 8th, 2010

Concept cars are starting to make their way away from the car show showrooms and into the sales dealership departments across America.

American carmakers are finding themselves having to eck out ways to be their biggest competitor the Japanese auto industry.

Honda, Toyota and other automakers abroad have made more efficient well-made cars than the American automaker. Not only have the Japanese automaker’s been able to do this but they have done it cheaper than what the Americans have to sell. The economy in Japan gives these automakers a definite edge.

To counteract that the American automaker can no longer rely on the same old designs and ideas to keep up. So what does he do? Innovate!

A real issue facing Americans is at the gas pump. Efficient running vehicles that drink less fuel are grabbing the attention of the American public. The most popular solution is the hybrid car. However this market has been created by the Japanese automaker. In fact Japan has actually lent their hybrid technology to Motown. That’s how far behind the American carmaker finds himself.
